Art Show

We're having a book show. Art books are fascinating. Previously published books can be altered, sculpted, or carved. New books can be created from wheat paste painted papers, blank pages, leather and decorative paper, cut and folded and sewn into bindings.
My first book was made from wheat paste paper, with collaged threads and leaves. I have since made books that are 1" x 1" in size, lots of different painted pages, and other styles and shapes.

My books are 'beginner' books. I'm very pleased with them, but I do have lots to learn. At our art show we'll have books from all sorts of talented artists, including Martha Cole. Martha Cole is a Saskatchewan fibre and book artist who has an incredible body of work.

Our Afternoon Book Affair is November 5 and 6 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 42 McMaster Place.
Tickets are $15.00
